Central Employees and Pensioner will Get an Increase in their Salaries
Central employees get various types of allowances including salary. However, after the implementation of the 8th Pay Commission, the salary of the employees will increase. The Narendra Modi government of the Center may consider this in the coming days. Currently, the basic salary of the employees under the 7th Pay Commission is Rs.18,000. But it will be amended after the implementation of 8th salary and lakhs of workers will get an increase in their salaries. Not only that, the pensioner will also benefit. Those who are getting pension after retirement will also get an increase in their pension.
Minimum Salary of the Employees May Increase by 34%
When the 8th Pay Commission comes into effect, the salary of the employees will also increase. Fitment factor will be calculated from old salary. This will increase the salary of lakhs of employees. Not only that, pensioners will also get more benefits. With the implementation of the 8th Pay Commission, the minimum salary of the employees may increase by 34%. Those who are getting minimum salary i.e. Rs.18,000 will get 26,000 rupees if their salary increases by 44.44%. According to the same scale, the salary of the employees will be increased accordingly.
So the question in the minds of employees is when will the 8th Pay Commission be constituted? Earlier Union Finance Minister Pankaj Chowdhury directly refused it in the Lok Sabha. And even in the budget, the central government did not announce anything like that. It would not be an exaggeration to say that there is no plan to form the 8th Pay Commission. An official said that a decision will be taken when the time is right. Now the central government is not taking any decision in this regard.
