After Two Decades Indian Duo has Achieved a 100 Partnership

The long wait of 20 years has come to an end. After two decades, Indian duo has achieved a 100 partnership in Australia. Before this, in 2003 and 2004, Virender Sehwag and Akash Chopra made centuries in the Melbourne and Sydney Tests on Australia’s tour. The two made a partnership of 141 runs in Melbourne and 123 runs in Sydney.Then on the tour of Australia, Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill put on a 72-run partnership, the highest ever opening partnership.

Team India was All Out on 150 Runs in The First innings

On the first day of Perth Test India showed weakness in batting by scoring 150 runs in the first innings, while Australia also suffered the same fate. In their first innings after Australia was all out for 104 runs, India was leading by 46 runs. However, in the 2nd innings Indian opener has proved wrong the idea that only pacer’s will ruled on the Perth pitch in Australia.

Chances of India’s Big Score on Perth Test

By the time stumps were removed on the second day, India has scored 172 runs without loosing any wicket. As a result, Team India is leading by 218 runs. With 3 more days left in the game, India still have 10 wickets. If Team India can continue batting throughout the day tomorrow, it would be an advantage for India. So India can score big in the first test and it will be easy to lose to Australia.
