What is the Railways Super App ‘SwaRail’? Know all the Services Available Under this App
A new super app called ‘SwaRail’ has been launched by the Ministry of Railways. In this app, passengers will get access to all railway services. This new super app of Indian Railways has been developed by ‘Centre for Railway Information Systems (CRIS)’ and is currently in beta program on Play Store.
This super app of Railways will provide all the services. With the help of this, passengers can book reserved and unreserved tickets. From here you can also get information about platform tickets, parcel booking and PNR. However, there is no official information yet on whether the IRCTC app will be discontinued after this app or will it continue.
Services of SwaRail App
- Indian Railway’s super app ‘SwaRail’ is one such platform, where users will get all the services in one app. We are saying that it will be just like China’s WeChat. Here, users get the benefits of all the platforms in one mobile app.
- The services available under this super app of Railways are, reservation ticket booking, unreserved ticket, platform ticket, parcel booking, PNR information, food order and complaints. Users will also get travel assistant feature under this app. In this, railway passengers can get all kinds of facilities including single sign-on, boarding.
- Here users don’t have to remember different login IDs and passwords etc. for different apps. Passengers can easily login with simple sign-in. New users need to provide some important information at the beginning.
