Govt will Launch Special Customize Credit Card with 5 Lakh Rupees Limit! Know How to Apply?

Govt will Launch Special Customize Credit Card
While presenting the Budget last February 1, Union Finance and Corporate Affairs Minister Nirmala Sitharaman was announced about this Credit Card. She said, “we will launch a special customized credit card with a limit of Rs 5 lakh for micro enterprises registered on the Enterprise Portal.” She further said that 10 lakh cards will be issued in the first year.
How to Register?
- For this first visit Enterprise Portal at msme.gov.in.
- Here you have to click on section ‘Quick Links.’
- Then you have to register by clicking on ‘Udyam Registration.’
- Here you will get detailed information about the documents required for registration and eligibility.
Registration can be done on this account. Credit cards are available for registered small enterprises.
This Announcement in the Budget
The credit guarantee cover for small and micro enterprises has been increased from Rs 5 crore to Rs 10 crore. In which additional credit of Rs. 1.5 lakh crore can be possible in 5 years. On the other hand guarantee cover for startups will double from Rs 10 crore to Rs 20 crore, with a lower interest rate of 1 per cent for loans in 27 priority areas. Apart from this, regulated MSMEs will avail term loans up to Rs 20 crore with extended guarantee cover.
