Now you can book BSNL’s 5G SIM card online from the comfort of your home and it will be delivered to your doorstep in just 90 minutes. This service is useful for those customers who do not want to wait in long lines at BSNL offices. Ho through this article and know the easy process of booking BSNL 5G SIM.
How to Book BSNL 5G SIM Online?
BSNL has launched this facility in collaboration with a company called Prune. You can order the SIM by following the steps below:
- Visit the website: Open a browser on your mobile or laptop and go to https://prune.co.in/.
- Select ‘Buy SIM Card’ option: After opening the website, click on the ‘Buy SIM Card’ option at the top and select ‘India’ as the country.
- Select BSNL and FRC plan: Select BSNL as the operator and choose the First Recharge Coupon (FRC) plan of your choice. FRC plans range in price from ₹107 to ₹2999, offering various benefits and validity.
- Fill in your personal details: Fill in your full name, mobile number, email address and delivery address. Complete the verification through the OTP sent to your mobile number.
- Confirm the order: After filling all the details, confirm the order by making the payment through UPI, Net Banking or Debit/Credit Card. The SIM will reach your home within 90 minutes of placing the order.
Delivery and Activation Process
- At the time of SIM card delivery, the delivery executive will complete the digital KYC (Know Your Customer) at your home.
- Aadhaar card or other government ID proof and address proof are required for KYC.
- Insert the SIM into your phone within 20-30 minutes of delivery.
- Once you get network signal, dial ‘1507’ to complete the tele-verification. After this, your SIM will be activated and you will get the benefits of the FRC plan.
Currently, this service is available only in limited cities, such as Gurugram in Haryana, Ghaziabad in Uttar Pradesh and Trivandrum in Kerala. It is expected to start in other cities soon.
