Champions Trophy 2025: Team India Players will Not Take Their Families with Them
After the one-day series against England, Team India will have to show its strength in the Champions Trophy. The Champions Trophy starts on February 19. The Indian team will play their first match against Bangladesh on February 20. All the matches of Team India will be held in Dubai. However, before the Champions Trophy, every player of Team India will go to Dubai together. They will not take their families with them. This happened because of the new rules of BCCI. Indian cricketers will go to Dubai on February 15 and their family members will not be with them.
BCCI’s new rules are being implemented for the first time in this tournament. The Indian team will have to play the first match of this tournament on February 20 and will face Pakistan on February 23. According to the new BCCI rules, if any tour of Team India lasts for 45 days or more, their family members can stay with them for 2 weeks. The decision was taken after the Test series defeat against Australia.
