How to Clear All your YouTube Watch History?

- Open your YouTube mobile app and make sure that you are logged into the account on which you want to clear your watch history.
- Open your YouTube app and go to the “You” tab with your YouTube profile picture icon at the bottom right corner of the screen.
- Once you are open You tab, you will see the “History” section which will show all the videos you have watched on your account.
- You can click on View all to see all your watch history.
- If you want to remove a specific video from the list , you can simply tap on the three dots at right side of the video and after that you will get a Menu with different options.
- Select the option “Remove from watch history” and that video will removed from your YouTube watch history. No one will be able to tell that you have watched that video.
How to Clear the Whole YouTube Watch History?
- If you want to delete the whole list of your YouTube watch history, then you can do that with just one click.
- Open your YouTube app and go to the “You” tab with your YouTube profile picture icon at the bottom right corner of the screen.
- Open “You” tab and you will see the first section”History”.
- In History section you can click on “View all” and all your watch history will be open.
- Here, you will see the three dot icon at the top right corner of the screen, click on that and you will get the couple of options like Pause watch history, Clear all watch history, Manage all history etc.
But, before clear all your watch history, you should keep in your mind that deleted your watch history on YouTube is going to affect your recommendation on the homepage. One of the things that YouTube uses to recommend you the videos that you may like is the watch history, the search history and couple of other things. But, if you delete your whole watch history, you may not get personalized recommendations as you did on the past or they will not be that good if your watch history list is empty.
