- Open Menu and go to the section ‘Who can see your content’ and tap on ‘Hide story and live’.
- Then, tap Hide story and live from and select the people from whom you want to hide your story and then tap on ‘Done’
How to hide your Instagram story from someone on iOS?
- Open Instagram app on your iPhone.
- Tap on your profile icon at the bottom right corner of the screen to go to your profile.
- Open your profile and tap on the hamburger Menu.
- Open Menu and scroll down to the section ‘Who can see your content’, under that select the option ‘Hide story and live’.
- Tap on ‘Hide Story and live from’ and select the users you want to hide your stories from and then Press on ‘Done’.
One thing you have to note that hiding your story from someone is not blocking them and you can’t prevent them from seeing your profile and posts.
How to hide Instagram story after posting it?
If you have already posted your Instagram Story and now you want to hide some users to viewing your stories, then you go to your story and select ‘More’ at the bottom right.
- Go to the ‘Story settings’ and choose ‘Hide Story from’.
