Yesterday, Meta launched Threads, and already it has more than 50 million users. Threads, a brand-new Twitter competitor, uses your current account to quickly onboard you to the platform and is tightly connected with Instagram. Additionally, it displays a Threads badge in your Instagram bio to let your followers know that you have signed up for the service. Is there a way to reveal the Threads badge on Instagram after certain users have hidden it? Read our explanation right here to learn more.
Can You Unhide Threads Badge on Instagram?
Instagram’s Threads badge cannot currently be unhidden. The Threads badge cannot be unhidden once it has been done so. Instagram even cautions you that after removing the badge from your Instagram profile, you cannot unhide it.
The Threads emblem, which enables you notify your followers that you have joined its program Threads, the new microblogging network from Meta, is said to be transitory. Your specific membership position is represented by a number identity that is also displayed on the badge.
I updated Instagram to the most recent version (290.0.0.13.176) on my Android phone to see if there was a setting to make the Threads badge visible, but it doesn’t seem there is. You’ll have to make do with it until Meta makes it possible to reinstate the Threads badge on Instagram.
Follow our tutorial at the linked page for step-by-step instructions if you wish to deactivate or delete your Threads account. Additionally, we have a little instruction available for you if you want to alter your Threads username.
