After Today’s Meeting Chief Minister Name will Announce
On Monday, that is, today, the MLA party may hold a meeting in the Mahayuti after electing the leader. Earlier, the three major party leaders Devendra Fadnavis, Eknath Shinde, Ajit Pawar have visited Delhi. The name of the Chief Minister will be announced after a meeting with the BJP high command. In Maharashtra, it is said that the government will run on the old formula. The Mahayuti will have a Chief Minister and 2 Deputy Chief Ministers. It is said that in today’s meeting the name will finalise.
Chances of Devendra Fadnavis to Become Chief Minister
It is said that Devendra Fadnavis is already certain about becoming the Chief Minister. There is no objection from the Ajit group to make Fadnavis the Chief Minister. If Fadnavis becomes Chief Minister then Eknath Sinde and Ajit Pawar can become Deputy Chief Ministers.
The formula of one minister for every 6-7 MLAs in the Mahayuti Ministry has been finalized. According to that calculation, 22 to 24 ministers can be from BJP, 10 to 12 from Sinde group and 8-10 from Ajit group. The swearing-in ceremony will be held after the Chief Minister’s announcement.
Shinde Shiv Sena Group has Demanded a 50-50 Formula for CM Post
According to sources, the Shinde Shiv Sena group has demanded a 50-50 formula for the post of Maharashtra Chief Minister. According to this formula, Shinde will be the chief minister for one and a half years. Eknath Shinde may emphasize this formula during the BJP high command meeting in Delhi. Mahyuti got 233 seats out of 288 assembly seats in Maharashtra. Out of these, BJP won 132 seats.
