What is One Nation One Ration Card Scheme?

• This One Nation One Ration Card plan ensures distribution of subsidised foodgrains to ration card holders under NFSA from Fair Price Shop (FPS) anywhere in the country.
• During lockdown migrants are facing lots of problems inorder to get ration. Keeping this problem in mind, central govt has initiated this plan of One Nation One Ration Card. Under this scheme, ration cardholders can get subsidised food items from anywhere in the country like they were getting in their own state.
• Under this scheme, beneficiaries will continue to get Rice, Wheat and Coarse Grain at the rate of Rs. 3, Rs. 2 and Rs. 1 per Kg respectively in different States.

Mera Ration App 2024

Mera ration app is a mobile application launched by the Indian govt on Friday, 12th of March 2021.
NIC (National Informatics Center) has designed and developed this app to furnish services of “One Nation One Ration Card” scheme. Through this app beneficiary can identify their closest FPS (Fair Price Shop) and get all the information like their current transactions, entitlement data, etc. Ration Card Holder can freely download this My Ration app from the Google Play Store. Currently this app is available in two languages that is Hindi and English. Soon, you can access the application in 14 different languages on the basis of areas where people migrated.
