Microsoft Global Outage Disrupts Airlines, Banking and Stock Market Worldwide

Microsoft services were affected worldwide for several hours.The outage caused widespread disruptions across various sectors, from flights, stock market, to banking operations and live broadcasting of channels.

Millions of Windows users globally are encountering the Blue Screen of Death, leading to unexpected computer shutdowns or restarts. In some instances, computers are repeatedly restarting, causing users to lose unsaved data and valuable time.

According to an official Microsoft blog post, blue screen errors occur when there are serious problems that cause Windows to shut down or restart immediately. These errors can be caused by either software or hardware problems. In this case, however, Crowdstrike has admitted that the problem in Windows is due to an update it rolled out on Friday. In a statement on its support page, the company said its engineering teams were working to resolve the issue.

These Blue Screen errors, also referred to as black screen errors or STOP code errors, occur when a critical problem forces Windows to shut down or restart unexpectedly.

Global airlines affected due to Microsoft outage

Microsoft experienced a global outage that had widespread repercussions, including significant disruptions to air travel. Major airlines such as India’s Akasa, IndiGo, Air India, Vistara and SpiceJet faced operational challenges. Delhi, Mumbai airports having checking problems along with other server problem. Airlines are giving hand written boarding pass to their passengers. Additionally US’ low-cost airlines like Frontier Airlines, Allegiant, and SunCountry also reported issues affecting their services.
