Meanwhile, on January 20 (Monday), Instagram’s parent company Meta launched a new video creation app ‘Edits’, it looks a lot like CapCut. CapCut is made by BeatDance, the parent company of TikTok.
The head of Instagram, Adam Mosseri, announced that today we launched a new app called ‘Edits’. It will be very helpful for those who are passionate about making videos on their mobile phones. Edits is not just a video editing app, it has many features. He said that a very good quality video can be shot through it. However, it is said that all the benefits that were available in Tik Tok can be found in Features of Edits.
According to reports, Edits is currently available on the App Store and will soon be available for Android users. Meta will first enable some video creators and edits. After this, the app will be available for everyone. On the other hand, Mosseri has announced in relation to the new updates on Instagram. Now a 3-minute reel can be posted on Instagram instead of 90 seconds. YouTube allows for 3-minute reel posts while 60-minute videos like this can be uploaded on TikTok.
