– PUBG Mobile revealed in a recent Dev Log that it will limit server switching by users.
– Once players have confirmed their server, for the next 60 days, they will not be able to alter it.
PUBG Mobile’s frequent updates add many new features to the game, keeping it engaging. A few days ago, the 1.1 update was rolled out and introduced the latest Metro Royale mode, themed gameplay, security upgrades, and more.
The limitation on swapping servers at will is one of the most important modifications made in PUBG Mobile version 1.1. In the Dev Log, which was released on 15 November, i.e., yesterday, the developers gave more information about this update.
PUBG Mobile Players Are Unable To Switch Servers At Will
The constraints will come in the image from Season 16, according to the Dev Log. Moreover the video stated:
“The developers have also been collecting input from surveys from players. In conclusion, starting with PUBG Mobile Season 16, we have agreed to limit the ability to move servers at will. The players will have to pick and confirm the server they want to play on for the season before the season begins.”
The video also added that once the server has been confirmed by players, it can not be changed again for 60 days. If the selection is not checked by users, they play in the area selected from the previous season.
The Dev Log added:
“If a player selects a particular mid-season server, it will move the tier data to the new server data.”
If players from different servers team-up, after this restriction is in effect, the game will be played on the server/region of the group/team leader. The points, levels, and ranking of the leaderboard will be won in this situation on the selected server and not on any other area.
This limitation will have its advantage, according to the developers, in enhanced server latency and a secure regional gaming climate.
