TRAI’s New Rule: With Only Rs 10 Recharge, Your Number will be Active for 90 Days!

Great news for Dual SIM users. Before the dual SIM users have to make expensive recharges to keep both the SIM active. But now this fee has been reduced. For this, TRAI has implemented a new rule, in which Jio, Airtel, VI and BSNL users will get reassurance.

TRAI’s New Rule

According to the new rule of TRAI, users’ numbers will be active for 120 days on a recharge of just 10 to 20 rupees. It means that even after the end of the recharge, there will be no tension of the recharger for 3 to 4 months, also the number will not be closed.

SIM Activation Validity Up to 30 Days for Rs.20

According to this new rule of TRAI, if you have prepaid balance of Rs.10 on your secondary number, then your number will be active for 90 days, if you put prepaid balance of Rs.20 on it, your SIM will be active for 120 days which means for 4 months.

SIM Active Plans of Different Telecom Companies

For Jio

If you are a Jio user, your number will be active for 90 days without any recharge. During this time users will get the facility of incoming calls. Similarly, to activate the number, users have to recharge with a validity of Rs. 99.

For Airtel

If you are an Airtel user then your number will be active for more than 90 days. After 90 days, users will be given 15 days to activate the SIM. Then you have to recharge the validity of Rs.45.

For Vodafone Idea

Vodafone Idea users can keep their SIM active without any recharge for 90 days. After that you have to add Rs 49 recharge plan to keep the number active.

For BSNL

BSNL users are the most profitable. Because BSNL is offering 180 days validity to the users to keep the SIM active.
