The bank provides a locker to the customer with some charges, in which they can keep their valuables. Bank never asks what you keep in this locker at the bank. Even then, there are reports of people’s belongings being stolen and damaged. Bank has no responsibility incase of loss due to natural calamities like earthquakes. If the bank is blamed for the theft, robbery or fire, in such cases the customer is favored.
In case of damage to locked items, the amount of benefit is limited. Here is 100 times the annual rent on the bank locker. If the rent of your bank locker is Rs.2000 per annum, then the grace amount is Rs.2 lakh.The more valuable items you put in the locker, the more you will receive this same favor or compensation.
