Families Who Do Not have Ration Card will Also Get the Benefits of the Ayushman Yojana
Health Minister Mukesh Mahalinga has said that a total of 3.5 crore people from 1.3 crore families in Odisha will get benefited from this Ayushman Yojana. In addition, those who are currently receiving benefits under the National Food Security Scheme or State Food Security Scheme can also avail the benefits of the Ayushman Yojana. Meanwhile, Health Minister Mukesh Mahalinga has made a big statement that 2 lakh families who do not have ration will also get the benefits of the Ayushman Yojana.
According to the information received, people above 70 years of age, even those paying income tax, will be able to avail the benefits of this scheme. Under the Ayushman card, healthcare worth Rs 5 lakh per family and an additional Rs 5 lakh for women will be provided. In addition, the government will provide an additional benefit of Rs 5 lakh under the Ayushman Bharat Yojana for those in the family who are above 70 years of age. Importantly, 2 lakh families without ration cards will also get benefits from this scheme. Health Minister Mukesh Mahaling has said that under the scheme, even if you do not have a card, you will get medical benefits by providing your Aadhaar number.
